Laser Pico Outhaul Rope Kit

Laser Pico Outhaul Kit - All the items you need to replace the outhaul on your Laser Pico. The ropes are cut to the perfect length and made from hard-wearing Evolution Performance Rope for the primary line and Shockcord/Elastic for the secondary line. jointed together with 2 Allen Inglefield clips.

Kingfisher 5mm Shockcord elastic has a natural rubber core and polyester braided cover. You can expect 100% stretch and good abrasion resistance from this bungee rope.

Evolution Performance Rope is a low-stretch polyester rope with a hard-wearing 16 plait cover. Inside the rope cover is a polyester rope core.

Fitting Instructions

• Step 1 - Clip the boom onto the mast above the black collar
• Step 2 - Tie the primary outhaul line to the small fairlead on the outboard end of the boom. With a bowline loop, then run through the eye of the clew hook, back around the fairlead and up to the cleat on the boom.
• Step 3 - Take the tail end of the clew outhaul line and pass it through the front fairlead mounted on the boom. Thread through the small inglefield clip and tie off with a figure of eight knot
• Step 4 - At the outer end take the long piece of shockcord, pass it through the eye of the hook and tie a large knot or bowline.
• Step 5 - At the other end pass through another small englefield clip and tie a figure of eight knot in the end. Now clip the two clips together. This is the tidy up line for your clew outhaul.
• Step 6 - Tension the clew out haul and secure in
